Went on a Saturday around 4 pm and snagged a seat at the bar — caught a good time in between the crowds. Had a Pimm’s Cup (their spin — tasty but underwhelming in size), the BLT (classic and perfectly balanced), crispy fries (excellent), and a house salad (which was a level up from normal). My first time at Duke’s grocery and it did not disappoint. Coincidentally went here on national cheeseburger day and their highly acclaimed Proper Burger did not disappoint! They offer it either medium rare or well done I chose the former and loved it! When in DC I will definitely be back at Duke‘s for a Proper ... Burger.
